Terms & Conditions

Strict rules and acceptable use guidelines to ensure a safe, spam-free URL shortening ecosystem.

Key Rules

Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate link deletion and IP bans.

No Spam

Bulk unsolicited emails or SMS campaigns using our links are banned.

No Malware

Links pointing to viruses, trojans, or phishing sites will be deleted.

Legal Compliance

All destination content must abide by international cyber laws.

1. Acceptance of the Terms of Service

Welcome to SwiftLink. By accessing, browsing, or utilizing our URL shortening tools, QR code generation services, and link analytics dashboard (collectively referred to as the "Service"), you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by these comprehensive Terms and Conditions. This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between you (the "User") and SwiftLink. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are strictly prohibited from utilizing our infrastructure.

SwiftLink reserves the sovereign right to update, modify, or replace any segment of these Terms without prior individual notice. It remains your sole responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued utilization of the Service following the posting of any changes constitutes absolute acceptance of those modifications.

E-E-A-T Verified Notice

These terms have been structured to comply with international web security standards, including GDPR regulations and India's DPDP Act. We prioritize the safety of the global internet ecosystem over individual link retention.

2. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct (Anti-Abuse)

SwiftLink operates as an infrastructure provider, allowing users to transform long, cumbersome URLs into manageable short codes. However, this power must not be weaponized. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against network abuse, spam, and malicious redirections.

You agree that you will NOT, under any circumstances, use SwiftLink to generate short links or QR codes that redirect to the following prohibited categories:

  • Malware and Viruses: Any destination distributing trojans, ransomware, spyware, or executing unauthorized background scripts (e.g., cryptojacking).
  • Phishing and Scams: Fraudulent websites designed to steal user credentials, financial information, or masquerade as legitimate financial institutions.
  • Illegal Content: Content that violates federal or international laws, including but not limited to child exploitation material, unlicensed firearms sales, or illicit narcotics.
  • Spam and Unsolicited Marketing: Using our short links inside CAN-SPAM violating emails, bulk SMS spam, or automated forum/blog comment spam.
  • Deceptive Routing: Creating infinite redirect loops, "bait-and-switch" links where the initial safe destination is later swapped for a malicious one, or obscuring affiliate links maliciously.

3. Link Moderation and Takedown Policy

We do not proactively manually review every single URL submitted to our database; however, we deploy sophisticated automated threat intelligence APIs to scan destination URLs. SwiftLink reserves the absolute right to suspend, disable, or permanently delete any shortened URL, QR code, or User account without prior notice if we determine, at our sole discretion, that it violates these Terms.

If a link is reported by a third party (via our Report Abuse channels) or flagged by global blacklists (such as Google Safe Browsing), the link will be neutralized immediately. SwiftLink bears no liability for any loss of traffic, revenue, or business resulting from a link takedown.

4. Advertising and AdSense Compliance

SwiftLink is provided to the public as a free utility. To sustain server costs, our platform is monetized via third-party advertising networks, prominently Google AdSense. Users must not interfere with the monetization framework.

  • Users are strictly forbidden from deploying automated bots, scripts, or mechanical tools to generate artificial clicks on advertisements displayed on the SwiftLink website.
  • Users must not frame the SwiftLink interface within iframes or manipulate the DOM to hide advertisements.
  • We do not offer a "paid-to-click" (PTC) or link monetization program. Users will not receive financial compensation for traffic routed through their shortened links.

5. API Usage and Rate Limiting

Developers interacting with the SwiftLink REST API must adhere strictly to the documented rate limits. Attempting to bypass rate limiters, reverse-engineering our private API endpoints, or hammering the server with rapid concurrent requests will result in an immediate and permanent IP ban.

API access is a privilege, not a right. We reserve the right to revoke API keys from any developer whose application puts undue stress on our routing architecture or repeatedly generates prohibited links.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. SWIFTLINK EXPLICITLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

While we engineer our systems for 99.9% uptime, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee that the results obtained from the use of the Service (such as analytics data) will be 100% accurate or reliable. Temporary network outages, database maintenance, or unexpected server hardware failures may temporarily disable link routing.

Critical Legal Notice

Under no circumstances should you use SwiftLink to route critical emergency services, life-saving medical data, or highly classified financial transactions where a routing failure could result in severe harm.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL SWIFTLINK, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (III) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SwiftLink and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your account and password; b) a breach of these Terms, or c) any third-party claims alleging that a URL you shortened directs to defamatory, infringing, or illegal content.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

10. Entire Agreement & Contact

These Terms, alongside our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Service.

For official legal correspondence, DMCA notices, or questions regarding these Terms, please contact our compliance department via email at querry.swiftlink@gmail.com.
